Conference planning in a pandemic

As you might imagine, planning a conference like OACE during a pandemic is a challenging task.  Read on for details.

OACE is committed to providing the very best conference each and every year.  2021 will provide a unique challenge as we adapt to the every-changing conditions and requirements imposed by the various factors at play.  At present, we are working on plans along two strategies, one will be a standard conference at our Seaside venue, and another will be an online conference.

OACE is sensitive to the fact that many of our participants are families who may not be able to attend an online conference for a variety of reasons.  We also realize many districts face uncertain funding from which staff and families often attend.  Travel restrictions and other requirements may also hinder participation.  For this reason, we are asking for your help as we map out possible plans for this event.
