The Oregon Association for Comprehensive Education (OACE) is seeking presentations and proposals for our 2018 Conference. Your participation is invited.

If you would like to be considered as an exhibitor or vendor, please contact us. I hereby authorize OACE and those acting pursuant to its authority to photograph, video tape, or use any other electronic method of recording my likeness and/or voice to be used in OACE related publications and/or web sites. The likenesses on the photographs and/or video footage will not be digitally manipulated to change its content.
I hereby give the OACE the absolute right and permission, without restrictions, to make, copyright, and/or use, re-use, or publish said photographs/video footage of me in which I may be included in whole or in part, and waive any right to inspect and/or approve the finished printed materials, videos and/or web sites where my image appears. I further consent that my name and identity may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary. I release OACE and those acting pursuant to its authority from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right I may have in connection with such use. I understand that all such recordings, in whatever medium, shall remain the property of OACE. I waive any right to compensation for my appearance in these printed documents, videos or web sites in any and all future uses of the photographs and/or video footage. I understand that my registration is cancellable/transferable only under the following situations:

Jose D. Garcia was born and reared in South Texas. He taught in the Harlingen Public School District for seven years. In 1967 he decided to go west for a summer vacation. He arrived in Oregon and liked what he saw. He decided to stay and teach for one year in the Hillsboro High School District. After teaching high school mathematics for two years, he attended Eastern Oregon State College where he received his Masters Degree.
The Migrant Awards have been given since 1998. The 19 migrant regions in Oregon can nominate one person from their region for the following four awards:
